It’s only been 7 games since Isaiah Thomas’ return and the honeymoon phase with fans and local media is already wearing off. I get it, he hasn’t played in 11 months and he’s going to have to find that groove again and work his way back and that’s all well and good, but not here and certainly not at this point in the season.

Currently, the eight teams holding playoff spots in the West are separated by only 5.5 games and a win for either team could play a big role in the Western Conference playoff race. The Lakers and Jazz hold the 8th and 9th playoff spots in the conference and are only separated by two games.

Player Spotlight: Montrezl Harrell

This week the spotlight is shining on Clippers fourth-year forward Montrezl Harrell. It has been a breakout season for Montrezl after signing a two-year deal worth $12 million this past offseason. The 25-year-old Harrell is averaging 15 ppg and 6 rpg in his second season with the Clippers after being apart of the CP3 (Chris Paul) trade last off-season.
