Cincinnati Bengals 2019 Season Recap

Mason Thompson | January 9th, 2020

The Bengals were the ultimate wild card in a changing AFC North during the offseason. While Cleveland had all of the media talking about them, Pittsburgh was without two of their star offensive playmakers, and Baltimore lost key starters on defense, Cincinnati was the ultimate dark horse in the division. That was before the injuries ended Jonah Williams and A.J. Green‘s season before they started. The Cincinnati Bengals were a complete disaster going 2-14, including an 0-11 start.

NFL DFS – Cash Game Plays for Week 13

Joey Ricotta | December 1st, 2019

Alright, it’s time to cook up some winning lineups. Speaking of cooking, eating, etc. Hopefully, you were able to gobble up some nice holiday money on the solid three-game Thanksgiving slate we had. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to, but I did put away plenty of turkey, mashed potatoes, and pie. So, I’ll take my gains (in more ways than one) where I can.

The Walsh Way – Week 7 NFL DFS GPP Plays

Kevin Walsh | October 19th, 2019

All my plays are based on DraftKings pricing. Its also important to note that when I list a player as a fade, I do not mean I will have 0% of them, but I will be way under the field as far as exposure goes, and likely will not play them on single entry lineups.

NFL DFS: Cash Game Plays for Week 1 (Kickoff Sunday)

Joey Ricotta | September 8th, 2019

Well, this is it. This is what we’ve all been waiting for. NFL football is back baby! Of course, we had the Chicago versus Green Bay game on Thursday night to kick off the season, but that was simply a tease. A low scoring defensive battle with one touchdown over the course of the game. Sure, it was a good football game (not the outcome I wanted being a Bears fan), but not at all what fantasy players were hoping for either. There will be a lot more action and points today, guaranteed. Cash games have been an area we can find an edge when it pertains to daily fantasy football. Every year new players jump aboard the always rolling DFS train. Luckily for you, most of the new players will be applying what they know about season-long fantasy into DFS. That’s not a terrible strategy, but it can lead to bad habits or skipping over important details. By putting in the extra effort and taking in as much as you can, you’re already winning. With all of that said, let’s kick off this season the right way. Take a stroll with me and look at some options to target for Week 1 DFS Cash Games. Continue reading

The Walsh Way – Week One NFL DFS GPP Plays

Kevin Walsh | September 7th, 2019

First, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Kevin Walsh, and I am from Pittsburgh, PA. I have been playing DFS since DraftStreet still existed. This is my first season writing for The Scorecrow, and this is my first tournament rundown. I have written about DFS before, so hopefully, that shouldn’t be too much of an issue. I am a huge football and hockey fan, and I am always so engulfed in fantasy sports from September until January. I plan to give you a peek inside what I have going on in my head and hopefully lead you to some DFS success (as well as myself, of course), but enough about me, let’s get to the good stuff.

Happy Fourth of July everyone! Hopefully, you are enjoying the greatest American holiday with friends, family, food, and your choice of beverage. Cincinnati Bengals Season Review

Dale Money | January 20th, 2019

The Cincinnati Bengals started off the regular season 4-1 and seemed ready to make a playoff run. However, before you knew it they picked up five straight losses and lost seven out of their last eight, ending the season with a 16-13 loss at Pittsburgh and 6-10 record to finish out of the playoff picture for the third straight year.

Week 4 Waiver Wire Adds

Frank Dyevoich | September 25th, 2018

Week 3 was not kind to us fantasy owners. We lost Jimmy Garoppolo for the season to a torn ACL, Evan Engram went down with a sprained MCL, and A.J. Green went down with what is being called a groin injury. We also had some players come out of the woodwork to place their name in the ring of players worthy of being started on your roster. Every week we try to make our teams better, so let’s get to it. The following waiver wire adds are based on a $100 Free Agent Aquisition Budget (FAAB).
