7&7: First Call For The Second Half

John Supowitz| July 24th, 2019

DJ LaMehieu – Second Base – New York Yankees

Hopefully, La Machine thanks me after the end of the season with all the promotion I’ve been giving him. Just like the weather this weekend the man stayed hot. He batted .423 this week and has only been hitless in one game since the end of the all-star break, and 27 of his last 29 games. Continue reading

Baltimore Orioles 2019 Preview

Daniel Corrigan | March 21st, 2019

If we are being honest, all I have to do is say “yikes” and that would be my preview of this team. Just an absolutely terrible ball-club. Hard to believe that only a few years ago, the Orioles had Manny Machado, Chris Davis (when he was good) Adam Jones, and Matt Wieters. This team reached the ALCS in 2014. So how were they this past season? 47-115 and finished dead last in the AL East for the second straight year. This will be a painful process, but let’s take a look at what the Orioles will field this season.
