Aspiring Sports Writers Can Draw Inspiration From Jayson Stark

This past weekend, six new players got enshrined in Cooperstown, and it was unforgettable. Getting to witness it all firsthand and being part of history couldn’t have been greater. From the Awards Ceremony and parade on Saturday involving 59 Hall of Famers to the Induction Ceremony itself on Sunday, it was unbelievable. Traveling Tom’s MLB All Star Game Experience

16 miles. Two days. An amazing experience. The 2019 All-Star Game provided a great lineup of things to do for fans anywhere from 10 to 100… and even the youngsters got a thrill out of the mascots there! While I was not credentialed to go to this event (I hope my writing can get to the right people at some point), I had a great time experiencing the nation focusing on one city and one event. Cleveland had a couple years to prepare for this and they knocked it out of the park. Of course, not everyone was satisfied, but that’s not realistic.
