12 Buy Low Dynasty Quarterbacks

Mike Fanelli | May 25th, 2020

The 2020 NFL draft is a little more than a month behind us and rookie drafts are wrapping up. With everyone in love with their new shiny rookie players, now is the time to buy low on players coming off a bad year, veterans with something left in the tank, or cheap long shots. For quarterbacks it’s hard to gauge their trade value, whether you play in a single quarterback league or a super flex league. However, we all know playing in a one quarterback league is lame and super flex is the new standard. With that said, I’ve put together 12 quarterbacks who fit into five categories that dynasty fantasy owners should look into trading for, especially if you are hurting at the position.

Miami Dolphins 2019 Season Recap

Mason Thompson | January 8th, 2020

Everyone knew that the Dolphins weren’t going to be competitive during the 2019 season. The team was set to “tank” for Tua Tagovailoa. The team started 0-7, sending off key players such as Laremy Tunsil, Kenny Stills, Kenyan Drake, and Minkah Fitzpatrick for draft picks. During this stretch, the team was switching between Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh Rosen as the starting quarterback. Once they turned and stood pat with Fitzpatrick, the team found success, resulting in a 5-4 finish and an overall record of 5-11.

Miami Dolphins 2019 Season Outlook

Mason Thompson  Aug 1st, 2019

The 2018 Dolphins started the season great with a 3-0 record. They then went on to have an up and down season the rest of the season with their biggest highlight coming on the final play against the New England Patriots on December 9th, now known as the “Miracle in Miami”. Ryan Tannehill got injured yet again and the team had to rely on Brock Osweiler for a majority of the season. The Dolphins finished the season 7-9, enough to place second in the AFC East, but not without a price. Adam Gase was fired and replaced by former Patriots de facto defensive coordinator Brian Flores. Tampa Bay Buccaneers…2018 …another one bites the dust !!

Christopher Dinkins | February 9th, 2019

My Tampa Bay Buccaneers (that’s what I like to call em), had a season to inspire people in 2018. Inspire them to throw their televisions out the window!!! This season began with the unknown; how was Ryan Fitzpatrick going to respond with Jameis Winston being suspended for first three games of 2018. Well, he AND the rest of the Buccaneers responded with the greatest two-game stretch for Tampa Bay football since the end of the 2002 season, the NFC Championship which closed down Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia for good, and Super Bowl XXXVII versus Oakland.

Week 10 Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em

Frank Dyevoich | November 10th, 2018

Week 10. It is only four weeks away from the fantasy playoffs and it is more important than ever to figure out the matchups we should be targeting to help us bring home that W. Do not be the person who benches the player about to go off because he had a bad game recently. Based on this week’s matchups, I recommend that you start or sit the following players.

Start Em’ Sit Em’ Week 9

Frank Dyevoich | November 3rd, 2018

With six teams on bye this week, our start/sit decisions become more crucial than ever. While it is tough to sit players who have a decent role on their team, it is the tough decisions that separate the champions from everyone else. Based on this week’s matchups, I recommend starting and sitting the following players.

Week 9 Waiver Wire Adds

Frank Dyevoich | October 30th, 2018

The trade deadline has come and gone. There are some new players on new teams and that means that guys are going to be stepping up into larger roles. There are also a few guys that will be fantasy relevant in a week or two, so it is best to jump on them a week early and stay ahead of the curve. In addition, the most important thing that you can do to make sure your team is in contention is to make sure there are no stars that were dropped due to recent struggles. For example, Larry Fitzgerald and Kenyan Drake were dropped all across fantasy football at some point this season, so make sure there are no studs lingering on your wire.  The following waiver wire adds reflect a $100 Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB).

Week 4 Streaming Options: QB, TE, D/ST, K, and Deep “Boom” Plays

Travis Finkel | September 28th, 2018

Week 3 brought us the emergence of Baker Mayfield in Cleveland. He led the Browns to a comeback victory over the New York Jets and Sam Darnold. Baker won the first battle of many between the top two quarterbacks of the 2018 draft and looked damn good in relief of Tyrod Taylor. The fantasy quarterback battle of the century between Big Ben and Ryan Fitzpatrick did not disappoint at all and the Rams look like the team to beat this year and are a complete fantasy juggernaut. Oh yeah, and the Bills beat the Vikings in Minnesota.

Week 3 Streaming Options: QB, TE, D/ST, K, and Deep “Boom” Plays

Travis Finkel | September 20th, 2018

Week 3 is upon us. The football season has been crazy so far. Ryan Fitzpatrick leads the league in fantasy points, Matt Breida leads the league in rush yards and DeSean Jackson is the receiving king through two weeks of play. If you play the strategy of streaming a quarterback, it has paid off well thus far as there have been plenty of quarterbacks outside of the top 12 weekly rankings that have performed very highly. Performances like Blake Bortles’ explosion for 30+ fantasy points against the Patriots last week secure confidence in streaming week in and week out.

Week 3 Waiver Wire Adds

Frank Dyevoich | September 18th, 2018

It has only been two weeks and there are already unheard of stars coming out of the woodworks to prove their worthiness of being on our rosters. This week, we had players stake their claim on the number one job for their team, and unfortunately, there was an injury or two so there are a few guys stepping into increased roles. Week 2 will prove to be an import waiver wire week this season, so pay attention and don’t let the gems slip away. The following FAAB values are based on a $100 budget.
