TNF Fantasy Preview: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns

Two weeks from today is Thanksgiving and that means the NFL regular season is on the back nine. With the San Francisco 49ers losing in overtime Monday night to the Seattle Seahawks, every team has lost at least one game this season. Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins pulled off their second straight win, defeating the Indianapolis Colts, throwing NFL draft junkies for a spin. Last week’s Thursday night game between the Oakland Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers was entertaining, close, and offered plenty of fantasy points.

Has anyone noticed that my “boom” plays go boom a week or two after I feature them? So unfortunate in the timing. Albert Wilson, c’mon man! Went off this past week. And don’t even get me started on Mason Crosby. Recommended him last week, and he saw plenty of opportunities and missed everything. If he hit all 6 of his kicks including his extra point attempt he would’ve had 21 points. 21. From a kicker. Then he goes and scores 17 against the Niners the next week.

Going Back in Time to Plan for the Future

The regular NFL season is here and so is the fantasy season. It’s time to set your lineup but who should you start? As we get deeper into the season it gets easier to find the trends. How are the snap counts looking, which defense is more susceptible to a specific position, or how are the targets being distributed? Since that data isn’t available to us for a few weeks we have to fire up the flux capacitor, get our 1.21 gigawatts, travel back in time, and look to last season.
