Los Angeles Lakers @ Denver Nuggets Preview

The Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets will meet for the second time this year, with the Lakers getting the W in their earlier match-up this season. Denver was victorious when the sides played each other in preseason, however. While they allowed Los Angeles to dominate the first half, the Nuggets were able to fight back from an 18 point deficit at the start of the second half. Poorly timed turnovers and fouls late in the game gave them just enough to escape with a 113-111 win.

RECAP: Houston Rockets vs Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets both suffered losses in their first games and were both looking for their first win. This was the first home game for LeBron James‘ Lakers, and the buzz was high in media across the NBA. The visiting Rockets are the top-tier of the West, while their hosts last night are stuck in the middle of the pack. However, judging by the way the game was played, it looked as if the pair were equal.

New Orleans Pelicans: 2018 Season Preview

Losing DeMarcus Cousins to the Warriors, and Rajon Rondo to the Lakers, the Pelicans lost two key components to their teams that had decent success in the 2017-2018 season. Can the Pelicans recover from such a blow to their roster, or will New Orleans have another season of tanking and lost potential?
