Did we have an impressive group of rookies in week nine or what? While most weeks we’ve had a few remarkable performances, this past week was full of breakout performances from players we were waiting to go off. While week one saw four pass catchers with 100 or more yards, week nine saw several receivers, running backs, and defensive players alike put up career games. Who stepped up big time? Who thrived under pressure? Find out in this week’s edition of the NFL Rookie Rankings. As always, let’s begin with a couple of honorable mentions. Continue reading →
Welcome in. Hopefully, everyone had a great week and is as excited as I am for this week’s games. Hopefully, last week you were able to construct a nice winning lineup based on some of the plays mentioned in last week’s article. We had a solid week, for the most part, correctly highlighting Michael Thomas, Will Fuller, Leonard Fournette, and the Carolina Panthers defense as solid plays. However, you aren’t here to reminisce about last week. Continue reading →
Here’s hope that your week five was a success and you started Will Fuller and didn’t sit him on the bench. If you started Mike Evans, here’s hope the rest of your squad pulled the weight and got you the win. Though on to week six and looking to recover from last week or keep the momentum going and to help fantasy football players with their roster construction, three of our writers have provided some insight on which players they would start, would sit, and consider a sleeper for week six. Be sure to follow all of them on twitter and ask any of The Scorecrow’s fantasy writers for fantasy advice.
Another week in the books, and another page of value chalk that failed spectacularly. As with most weeks, much of the popular value ends up being from one team. Last week, it was Bengals pass-catchers, this week it looks to be the Dolphins offense. We will try to navigate through the landmines the best we can.
What a barren, desolate landscape we have on the waiver wire. As is the case in most seasons, the middle of the season has far fewer options available. Honestly, I’m holding put in most leagues, but if you’re looking for help, here are a few options on the wire for you to consider. Continue reading →
One of my favorite activities to take part in at bars, other than drinking, of course, is playing darts. Throwing darts takes precision aim, but if you hit the bullseye or triple-20 you’re sitting very pretty. It’s the same concept when it comes to taking down large field tournaments otherwise known as GPPs. Sometimes you have to get a little weird and go off the radar. You don’t have to get a ton of these guys in your lineup, but one or two could be incredibly beneficial. It could also fail miserably. But if you’re playing in a tournament like the Milly Maker on DraftKings, you’re going to need to get creative and use at least one low-owned player. Without further ado, let’s get to some Dart Throws that might help us take home a ton of money. Continue reading →
The 2019 NFL season is right around the corner! We are knee deep in the preseason as teams are determining who will make the final roster. Every year there are players who come out of nowhere to make the team. To the average NFL fan, the preseason might be boring, but to dynasty fantasy football players, this is the time of the year to evaluate your deep bench. To help with that, the Scorecrow family has put together a mini-series with a handful of writers giving you their opinions on five questions. Be sure to follow all of the writers on twitter and ask any questions you may have regarding their answers. Without further ado, let’s get into it.
