The preseason is quite the unique enigma. It encompasses a lot of emotion from both fans and players, ranging from elation to utter disdain. In reality, it is a necessary evil for everyone. It gives players, coaches and even the television crews to get some repetitions before the regular season. As much as practice helps, there isn’t anything that can replace game speed. As fans, we keep asking ourselves why we watch because it is a boring, bland style of football. In reality, there are a lot of reasons we watch.

Three years after their Super Bowl 50 victory, the Broncos are in the same situation they were before Peyton Manning chose to sign with them. The Denver Broncos finished at home with a very weak 23-9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Finishing up the season 6-10, and clinching it’s first back-to-back double-digit loss season since 1967. They will be on a quest to regroup and find a way to get back to the playoffs.
