Is it too farfetched to put all your faith in Kawhi “Fun Guy” Leonard to bring the Los Angeles Clippers their first NBA championship? After all, he was one more errant bounce away in his final shot from losing the series against the Philadelphia 76ers and this wasn’t even the Eastern Conference Finals. Lakers Free Agency Targets

Free agency is less than a week away, and the Lakers will look to make a splash, after acquiring Anthony Davis.

The Lakers can possibly sign a player such as Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler, or Kyrie Irving. Kawhi Leonard should be the only player that the Lakers give a max contract to if they have enough money to offer a max contract. But, the Lakers have another option as well. The Battle of L.A.

The LeBron-less Lakers lost a tough game last night in Sacramento. They could redeem themselves with a win tonight against the Clippers, but it will not be easy. Before the season began, Clipper guard Lou Williams was asked who the best team in LA is, he said, “I mean, the Lakers ain’t beat us since I’ve been on the Clippers,” Williams tells TMZ Sports. “So, record-wise, yeah, we are the better team in L.A. until they prove it”. Later on, Patrick Beverley said, “I’ll tell y’all right now, we are the best team in L.A. for sure”.

LA Clippers Preview: 10/30-11/2

The Los Angeles Clippers have been quietly playing good basketball. They are currently 4-2, including wins against the Thunder and the Rockets (twice). This team plays with a lot of heart, led by Patrick Beverley’s defense and Tobias Harris‘ and Lou Williams‘ offense. They have been finding ways to win games.
