The NBA trade deadline is just around the corner and the rumor machine is on fire. While most teams won’t make a deal, each will consider many options between now and the February 7th deadline. In a six part series, I will provide one trade each NBA team should consider making between now and the trade deadline. The Northwest division is up next and here is a trade each team should make. The Boston Celtics ended last week with a 2 – 1 record. They had a solid week even though they had one loss because it was against the Golden State Warriors who are the best team in the league. They played well against the Warriors but just came up short due to some sloppy turnovers.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder were in action Thursday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena and it was a much more competitive game than expected. The Lakers were without LeBron James and Rajon Rondo but were able to come away with an overtime victory due to stellar shooting, solid bench-play, and impressive defense.

The Los Angeles Lakers are currently sitting in 6th place, with a record of 21-16, 3.5 GB of 1st place. However, the Lakers do not have LeBron for at least one more game. The young guys, led by Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma need to continue stepping up and taking over games in LeBron’s absence.
