The Green Bay Packers were dismantled in the NFC Championship game, meaning all four of the NFC North teams have now been eliminated this year. Last April, this division had four first-round picks, with Green Bay having two of those four. The Chicago Bears were without first and second-round picks due to the Khalil Mack trade. We are almost done with the NFL season. In three weeks we will know which team is at the top of the mountain in the league. Last April, all 32 teams looked to address some of their weaknesses during the draft. The draft is the offseason Super Bowl as all seven rounds are televised live with in-depth analysis of each player and what they bring to their new teams.
Today, I take a look at how the NFC East did with their draft selections. The NFC East had six selections in the first round with the Giants having three, Washington having two, and Philadelphia having one. Two teams took their quarterbacks of the future, while another took their new franchise tackle. Let’s take a look at how the Cowboys, Giants, Eagles, and Redskins rookies did this year.
