Report: Suns’ Devin Booker could be trade target for Heat if they strike out in 2021

NBA scout weighs in on Heat’s playoff chances

Last season, the Miami Heat missed the playoffs for the third time in the past five seasons.  In order to improve their chances for this upcoming season, the Heat acquired all-star Jimmy Butler in a sign and trade from Philadelphia 76ers.  Miami traded Josh Richardson to the 76ers for Butler and also moved Hassan Whiteside to the Portland Trail Blazers for Meyers Leonard. Kelly Olynyk injures knee in Canada exhibition game

With training camp a month away, Miami Heat forward Kelly Olynyk picked up an injury Wednesday night.

In 2010, the Miami Heat pulled off the biggest free agency coup in NBA history signing Lebron James and Chris Bosh to join Dwyane Wade in Miami. During their four seasons together in Miami, the Heat went on to win two championships in four NBA Finals appearances. While Chris Bosh became a member of the Heat’s Big Three, there’s been reports over the years that suggested that Carmelo Anthony was supposed to be the third piece of the Heat’s Big Three in 2010. Tobias Harris on Jimmy Butler’s move to Miami: “Miami’s going to love him”

After acquiring both Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris during the 2018-19 season, the Philadelphia 76ers believed they had a great shot at an NBA championship. However, those hopes were squashed with Kawhi Leonard‘s lucky bounce at the buzzer in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
