A three-team trade that included Miami, Minnesota, and Memphis landed Andre Iguodala to the Heat. While Andre Iguodala was the big name in the deal, Jae Crowder has made the most impact on the team so far. It took a huge night from three-point range for the Miami Heat to beat the Orlando Magic. The Heat hit a franchise-record 22 three-pointers in their 116-113 win over the Magic. Miami’s previous record was 21, which was set back in 2017. With the win, the Heat’s season record is now 40-22, one more than last season’s win total.
The Miami Heat are now the only team to beat the Milwaukee Bucks twice. In what was an impressive defensive performance, the Heat defeated the Bucks 105-89. The 89 points scored by the Bucks were a season-low for them. Miami is now 39-22 for the season and three games back of the third-seeded Boston Celtics.
On what was a special night, the Miami Heat came out victorious over the shorthanded Cleveland Cavaliers. The Heat opened the game on an 11-2 run converting their first four attempts. After leading by single digits in the first period, the Heat pushed their lead to 30 by halftime. From there, they never looked back. Miami is now 23-3 at home.
