Nascar DFS Daytona 500 Selections

After a wreck-filled Busch Clash last weekend, in which Erik Jones would manage to push his torn up Camry to victory thanks to an assist from teammate Denny Hamlin. It is now time to kick off a brand spanking new season with the Super Bowl of Nascar events the Daytona 500. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will start on pole, opposite Alex Bowman, as they were the two lone drivers to have qualified early.

NASCAR DFS: Busch Clash

NASCAR season is back. Well not officially until the Daytona 500 but this weekend we get the Clash. The Clash is an exhibition race and consists of 2019 NASCAR pole winners, past Clash champions, past Daytona 500 winners, and past Daytona 500 pole winners. They also had to have completed the full schedule in the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series. The race is only 75 laps and the winner gets bragging rights and cash.

Denny Hamlin Snipes Final Four Spot In The Desert

Needing to get one of the last two spots, Denny Hamlin would put on a very decisive performance in Phoenix. Earning himself the victory along with a seat at the Final Four table in Homestead. Hamlin had one of the quickest cars all day, topping most laps led with 143.

Martin Truex Jr. Qualifies For Homestead After Convincing Win

Denny Hamlin Wraps Up Round Of 12 With Kansas Win

It took two overtime restarts to get finished, but Denny Hamlin would manage to come through with a toughly fought win edging out Chase Elliot. Hamlin would get a nice assist from teammate Kyle Busch to get him the lead he needed in the final green white. Busch, Kurt Busch, William Byron, Martin Truex Jr, Eric Jones, Clint Bowyer, Harvick, and Jimmie Johnson rounded out the top 10. Elliot manages to qualify for the round of eight after just managing to beat out Brad Keselowski by three points.

Ryan Blaney Beats Ryan Newman By A Nose In Talladega Photo Finish

Ryan Blaney would need every bit of that front bumper, in beating out fellow Ford driver Ryan Newman by 0.007 seconds in the sixth closest finish in Monster Energy history. Blaney would lead the front of the pack with a two-lap restart, and with drafting support from Aric Almirola it was enough to get him that gap he needed on the field. Continue reading
