No late-game theatrics in this one. The Miami Heat were in control from start to finish. Fueled by their poor performance in their last road game, Miami was on a mission to make a statement on Wednesday. And they did it by defeating the Indiana Pacers 122-108. With the Boston Celtics loss to the San Antonio Spurs, the Heat are now second in the East standings.
This week Nick and Gabe interview Chris Denari, play by play announcer for the Indiana Pacers. Victor Olapido suffered a gruesome injury to his right knee in Wednesday’s contest against the Toronto Raptors. Oladipo was carried off the court on a stretcher and looked to be in a tremendous amount of pain. Oladipo would only play 10 minutes going 2-of-4 from the field and 0-of-1 from three on his way to 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist.
