Any mother who has ever had a son who played sports has had a debate with them about having to wear an athletic supporter and protective cup. The Seattle Mariners had a very promising 2018 season, albeit not good enough to secure a playoff berth. They finished with an 89-73 record, 14 games back of division leaders, the Houston Astros. They fell short of a Wild Card position to division foe, the Oakland Athletics who were eight games better.
The Outfield position has always been deep and 2019 is no different. With five players being drafted in the 1st round, there is elite upside available with the first 15 outfielders off the board. This is one of the only positions that will not penalize you by reaching for an early pick because you have 2-5 more chances to get your starting lineup straight.
