The Seattle Seahawks had a much better season than most expected. Russell Wilson made miracles happen behind a lackluster offensive line, Tyler Lockett, and rookie receiver D.K. Metcalf. Even as the running game lost their top two running backs in Rashaad Penny and Chris Carson by season’s end, this team still put up a fight in the playoffs getting eliminated in the divisional round against the Green Bay Packers. Kameron Misner was born January 8, 1998, to Terry and Stephanie Misner in Poplar Bluff, MO. Misner was a two-way player in high school at Poplar Bluff High School, hitting .422 with eight home runs, 35 RBI, and stealing 29 bases, while also pitching to a 2.13 ERA and striking out 48 in 32 innings his senior year. This performance earned him the Semo Conference Player of the Year and also First Team All-State honors for Missouri and an Honorable Mention All-American. Following this stellar senior season, Misner was selected in the 33rd round of the 2016 First-Year Player Draft by the Kansas City Royals but elected to instead commit to Missouri. Continue reading

The Missouri Tigers and Oklahoma State Cowboys will meet for what has the potential of a shootout on New Year’s Eve in Memphis. Both teams enter the matchup ranked in the top 20 nationally in both total and scoring offense. The Cowboys have had a roller coaster season up to this point and entered the last two weeks of the regular season needing a win to become bowl eligible.
