On Saturday the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans finally agreed on a trade that will send six-time All-Star Anthony Davis to the Lakers. In return, the Pelicans will receive Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and three first-round picks, including the fourth overall pick in Thursday night’s draft. For months the rumors and reports have been swirling that Davis would become a Laker and now it’s finally done.

So far, trade discussions between the Memphis Grizzlies and Miami Heat regarding Mike Conley have not gone well. After jumping from Number 8 to Number 2 in the draft lottery, the Memphis Grizzlies are reportedly zeroing in on guard Ja Morant with the second overall draft pick. With the Grizzlies eyeing Morant, it could mark the end of 12 year veteran guard Mike Conley‘s career in Memphis. To clear up more playing time for the rookie point guard, and possibly tank for next year’s draft class, there’s a great chance the Grizzlies will entertain talks for the veteran guard this summer.
