The Fall Classic is finally upon us. The Houston Astros and Washington Nationals will face off in this year’s World Series. This is the second time in three years for the Astros and the first-ever appearance by the Washington Nationals. The Astros finished off the Yankees in six games in the ALCS and the Nationals swept their way past the Cardinals in the NLCS.

DraftKings Around the Horn October 18th, 2019

Joel Dorcas |October 18th, 2019

Pitching has mostly had the upper hand in the Astros/ Yankees Championship Series so naturally, because of the distinct edge in their starters, we have to side with the stronger pitching team, the Houston Astros. Justin Verlander will be going on regular rest. The Yankees send left-handed starter James Paxton to the bump who has strikeout upside, but the Astros hit lefties very well. Let’s quickly go over a few players to help build your showdown lineups. It’s Game Five of the ALCS and it’s about time to go for a rip Around the Horn!

MLB DFS: ALCS Game Four Showdown

John Lepore | October 17th, 2019

Game Four of the ALCS was supposed to be last night. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. What the change in schedule does for us though is it gives us a rematch of the Game One starters. It will be cool at Yankee Stadium tonight, and the wind will be blowing out toward the short right-field porch at about 16 mph. There should be a few souvenirs for the fans in those seats tonight.

MLB DFS – ALDS Game Four: Showdown Slate

Joey Ricotta | October 8th, 2019

The Tampa Bay Rays were able to stave off elimination yesterday by knocking the baseball all around the yard and defeating the Astros 10-3. But today will be even more challenging as they get the daunting task of trying to hit the timeless ace, Justin Verlander. Will they be able to do it? Who knows. What I do know is I have some top-notch options for you to use in your DFS lineups tonight. At least I hope they are top-notch.

Joel Dorcas |August 22nd, 2019

Gerrit Cole, Max Scherzer, and Ryan Yarbrough appear to be the night slate’s best offerings for starting pitcher tonight. As for filling out the rest of your lineups, there are many ways to approach if we decide to save our budget and go heavy on bats. Lace-up the cleats we’re going Around the Horn

Into the 80s with Tom Greene- Houston Astros

Tom Greene\ Aug 20th, 2019

This second installment of “Into the 80s with Tom Greene” took a few days longer than I, or even the Astros, had anticipated. But, nonetheless, the Astros become the third team this season to join the 80-win club. This comes at no surprise to baseball fans, as the Astros have seemingly controlled the AL West since 2015. However, their vision looks farther than winning the West. They want another World Series title, and they want it now. Let’s break the Astros’ team. Continue reading

Joey Ricotta | April 29th, 2019

Sometimes we need to look at DFS like we are putting together a puzzle. The top-notch players are usually the highest priced ones. The lower priced guys can be serviceable, given the right matchup. My goal with the article today is to give you some pieces, both high and low, to give you the best chance of putting together the perfect puzzle. Take a ride with me as I lay out some spend up options, value and BvP plays, and stacks. Continue reading
