Johnson will be a jack of all trades wideout I wouldn’t be surprised if you see him lineup outside and in the slot, where he was used primarily with Toledo. According to Chris Adamski of the “Tribune-Review,” the young wideout is taking drills lined up on the outside. In the next edition of the Steelers’ draft picks we look at Ulysees Gilbert III, an exciting prospect that has the potential to crack the starting rotation in as early as 2-3 years. This 6″1 225 pound linebacker out of Akron could be another great addition at the very least on special teams. If the Steelers can tap into his full potential, there is no stopping this young man.
The West Region of this year’s NCAA bracket has a lot of intriguing matchups and potential bracket-busting upsets. Gonzaga, with its pure dominance during the regular season, is the favorite to come out of the West. However, the Zags are coming into the tournament limping a bit after being upset by South Region # 11 Saint Mary’s in the WCC Championship.
The Los Angeles Clippers squared off against the Charlotte Hornets. Los Angeles would come away with the 117-115 victory thanks to a Tobias Harris buzzer beater. Harris would have 34 points while going 13-of-21 from the field as well as making six three-pointers.
Two newly crowned conference champions in the Northern Illinois Huskies and UAB Blazers will meet in Boca Raton to do battle today at 7:00pm ET. NIU, appearing in its 13th bowl game, in fact, played Marshall in the first ever Boca Raton Bowl, back in 2014. UAB returns to its second consecutive bowl after having just won the Conference USA Title on December 1, over Middle Tennessee State 27-25. Less than two years after the program was back in full swing, having folded in 2014.
This game is a battle of Eagles. Georgia Southern will take on Eastern Michigan in Alabama today at 5:30pm ET. This game shapes up to be very low-scoring with both defenses ranked in the top 45 in the country.
