Five Bold Predictions for the Arizona Cardinals

Brady Podloski | May 20th, 2020

The Arizona Cardinals are a young team that improved each game last year. With second-year quarterback Kyler Murray entering the season with an arsenal of weapons, the offense could be one of the best in the league. While it doesn’t seem bold in hindsight, the boldest move of the last offseason was drafting Murray first overall in the 2019 draft, despite drafting Josh Rosen in the 2018 draft. After just one year of play, Murray has shown unique qualities that can make him a viable part of the franchise moving forward. To this point, this is an article about five bold predictions for the Cardinals for the 2020 season.

2020 NFL Draft: Day One Winners and Losers

Mason Thompson | April 24th, 2020

Well, what a night that was. The first round of the draft lasted over four hours and had plenty of surprises as we thought. Some teams did what we thought they would, while others went way out of the ordinary. We had multiple surprising selections in the teens as well as the 20’s, and a running back taken in the first round. Everyone has different opinions on the draft, and I will try my best to select the winners and losers of last night’s action. Continue reading

Arizona Cardinals 2019 Season Recap

Ethan Hewett | January 11th, 2020

The 2019 season was, for the most part, disappointing for Arizona Cardinals fans as the team found themselves tied with the Detroit Lions in week one leading to a 3-7-1 record going into their week 12 bye. The defense couldn’t seem to slow anybody down, and poor offensive line play left top overall draft pick, Kyler Murray, running for his life. However, not all hope was lost after their bye week as the Cardinals would finish 2-3 in their final five games including an impressive 27-13 win over their divisional rival Seattle Seahawks. Kliff Kingsbury’s offense started to settle in and the team finished the year at a positive 5-10-1 record.

The Josh Rosen Story

Mason Thompson | December 17th, 2019

It’s early April of 2018, a few weeks before the NFL draft. Analysts are going back and forth between who the Browns should take with the first overall pick. Mocks have the Browns taking Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, and Baker Mayfield. Darnold and Rosen are the first two on most boards. With Baker having “character” concerns, Allen having severe accuracy problems, and Lamar Jackson haters aplenty, Darnold and Rosen seemed like the two safest bets at the quarterback position.

TNF Fantasy Preview: San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals

Mike Fanelli | October 31st, 2019

Happy Halloween everyone! The NFL trade deadline was Tuesday and several players got moved. One of the players moved was Kenyan Drake, who will play tonight for the Arizona Cardinals. Last week’s Thursday night game was boring and I expect tonight’s game to be similar. The Cardinals are coming off a 31-9 loss to the New Orleans Saints, while the San Francisco 49ers destroyed the Carolina Panthers 51-13. Even at home, the Cardinals are massive underdogs and this game will be hard to watch, so be smart and enjoy your Halloween doing something else.

The Walsh Way – Week 7 NFL DFS GPP Plays

Kevin Walsh | October 19th, 2019

All my plays are based on DraftKings pricing. Its also important to note that when I list a player as a fade, I do not mean I will have 0% of them, but I will be way under the field as far as exposure goes, and likely will not play them on single entry lineups.

Week Six NFL Picks: Spreads, Props and More

Mike Fanelli & Givanni Damico | October 12th, 2019

Make sure to set those alarm clocks extra early on Sunday as the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off at 9:30 AM EST from London. Not only do you need to get your fantasy lineups set but also to get in on the betting action for this game. Hopefully, if you bet the Patriots -17 on Thursday night you didn’t panic and hedge your bets after their slow start as the Patriots won 35-14. However, the original over/under was set at 43 in most spots and the over hit thanks to Tom Brady‘s second rushing touchdown of the game, which came with just under four minutes left in the contest.

Week Five NFL Picks: Spreads, Props and More

Mike Fanelli & Givanni Damico | October 5th, 2019

Thursday night’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks was an exciting contest, especially in the second half. Both offenses came to life with the Seahawks ultimately winning, 30-29 after Greg Zuerlein missed a game-winning field goal. If you got the Rams +1.5 you barely covered while the total of 48.5 easily went over. If half of the games on Sunday are as good as Thursday night’s, NFL and gambling fans are in for another great day of football.

Well here’s to hoping you didn’t lose Saquon Barkley, but if you did don’t feel defeated yet. You aren’t the only one and some of our writers did as well. It’s a painful experience as if you were hurt alongside him, but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Now you get to test your management skills till he returns and as the season goes along start to make trades and waiver pickups to stay afloat till Barkley, Tyreek Hill, Drew Brees, A.J. Green, and other key players return.

You read that right. The Lions did what the NFL is trying so desperately to make impossible, end a game in a tie. After taking a 24-6 lead into the 4th quarter, the Cardinals rallied back to send the game to Overtime. A pair of field goals evened the score at 27, and the game ended there. Continue reading

NFL Rookie Hype List: Hit or Miss?

Anthony Smith | August 5th, 2019

With 32 teams in the midst of regular-season preparation via training camp practices, we often see the hype for rookies spin out of control. It seems like every year without fail, NFL Twitter gets a hold of a couple clips of a corner making a nice interception, or a running back juking a linebacker and leaving them in the dust, and proclaims them as the next great thing. I’m here to look at seven players that were drafted in April that have seen a ton of chatter, and to give my predictions on if they will prove worthy from day one.
