Happy Halloween everyone! The NFL trade deadline was Tuesday and several players got moved. One of the players moved was Kenyan Drake, who will play tonight for the Arizona Cardinals. Last week’s Thursday night game was boring and I expect tonight’s game to be similar. The Cardinals are coming off a 31-9 loss to the New Orleans Saints, while the San Francisco 49ers destroyed the Carolina Panthers 51-13. Even at home, the Cardinals are massive underdogs and this game will be hard to watch, so be smart and enjoy your Halloween doing something else.
One of my favorite activities to take part in at bars, other than drinking, of course, is playing darts. Throwing darts takes precision aim, but if you hit the bullseye or triple-20 you’re sitting very pretty. It’s the same concept when it comes to taking down large field tournaments otherwise known as GPPs. Sometimes you have to get a little weird and go off the radar. You don’t have to get a ton of these guys in your lineup, but one or two could be incredibly beneficial. It could also fail miserably. But if you’re playing in a tournament like the Milly Maker on DraftKings, you’re going to need to get creative and use at least one low-owned player. Without further ado, let’s get to some Dart Throws that might help us take home a ton of money. Continue reading →
You read that right. The Lions did what the NFL is trying so desperately to make impossible, end a game in a tie. The 2019 NFL season is right around the corner! We are knee deep in the preseason as teams are determining who will make the final roster. Every year there are players who come out of nowhere to make the team. To the average NFL fan, the preseason might be boring, but to dynasty fantasy football players, this is the time of the year to evaluate your deep bench. To help with that, the Scorecrow family has put together a mini-series with a handful of writers giving you their opinions on five questions. Be sure to follow all of the writers on twitter and ask any questions you may have regarding their answers. Without further ado, let’s get into it.
The 2019 NFL draft is just a few days away and teams are putting the finishing touches on their player evaluations. Everyone loves mock drafts so here is a seven-round mock draft predicting every Houston Texans’ pick. Thanks to a previous trade, the Texans have three picks within the top 55 selections. Coming off a dreadful 7-9 record, where they missed out on the playoffs, two years removed from a Superbowl appearance, the Atlanta Falcons enter the draft with an eye on four main positions: offensive line, edge rusher, defensive back, and defensive linemen. Continue reading →
