Grading the Packers 2017 Draft Class

This year is a big year for most players drafted in the 2017 draft class. For those not drafted in the first round, this is the final year of their rookie contracts. The top 12 picks of the draft had three monumental trades, two star running backs, three receivers, and three quarterbacks in Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, and, well, Mitchell Trubisky. Three tight ends were selected in the first round, while there was plenty of depth at running back and receiver in the later rounds.

Five Bold Predictions for the Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals are a young team that improved each game last year. With second-year quarterback Kyler Murray entering the season with an arsenal of weapons, the offense could be one of the best in the league. While it doesn’t seem bold in hindsight, the boldest move of the last offseason was drafting Murray first overall in the 2019 draft, despite drafting Josh Rosen in the 2018 draft. After just one year of play, Murray has shown unique qualities that can make him a viable part of the franchise moving forward. Having already drafted wide receiver Jerry Jeudy in the first round with the 15th pick, president/general manager John Elway took another wide receiver to surround Drew Lock and pro bowl receiver Courtland Sutton.

Miami Dolphins Post Free Agency Seven Round Mock Draft

The Miami Dolphins finished the season off strong, which was a result of the team’s head coach Brian Flores. Going forward, this team made significant signings to speed up the rebuilding window. Notably, the team made considerable signings with Ereck Flowers, Shaq Lawson, Emmanuel Ogbah, Jordan Howard, Kyle Van Noy, and Byron Jones. This team has completely shifted its defense, by adding short term players to high impact positions such as edge, corner, and linebacker.
