2019 was mostly a season to forget for the Kansas City Royals, going 59-103. The season started on a sour note, seeing star catcher Salvador Perez lost for the year to Tommy John surgery after damage to the ulnar collateral ligament in his throwing arm was discovered. Also, longtime manager Ned Yost, the manager who took the Royals to two straight World Series appearances, retired at the end of the season. Continue reading →
The Kansas City Royals finished the season 59-103. While they weren’t in the basement of the American League Central, they did have the fourth-worst record in the Major Leagues. This bodes well as they will have the fourth pick in the Amateur Draft come June of 2020. The Royals are going to need prospects like that to pan out if they hope to reach the pinnacle of the sport as they did just four years ago.
We are in the final week of the regular season. There is a solid 13-game slate tonight with plenty to choose from. The calendar has flipped over to September, the kids are back to school and summer days are about to turn into crisp, cooler days. The baseball season is a grind. It’s every single day. We will approach DFS the same way and be winners at the end of the season even if we have our hot streaks and slumps. Every day there are safe bets that flop and values that hit big, but we need to stick with our strategy in evaluating and playing. Let’s take a look at what we have today.
Welcome in. We have a nice main slate of nine games to go ahead and dive into. All of the games beginning at 1:05 E.T are available to select players from, leaving off the games starting at 4:05 E.T. and later. Please make sure to check the “Other Targets” sections of the article. I provide those as key points but don’t go into detail about the players because sometimes they are obvious. If you have any questions about any of the players mentioned, please feel free to reach out to me on twitter. With that said, let’s get into the Core Plays, BvP, and Stacks for today.
