Philadelphia went into this draft with a huge need at wide receiver and a number of other glaring holes. By the time the draft ended, they filled those needs, while also turning some heads in round two. They also traded back in round six with the San Francisco 49ers and got receiver Marquise Goodwin to add to their speed factor on offense. The offseason for the Raiders was very different from every other franchise, thanks to the move from Oakland to Las Vegas. The 2020 NFL draft was supposed to be held in Las Vegas but COVID-19 had other plans. Thankfully, the draft will still happen on time and the Raiders still have seven picks, including two in the first round and five within the first 100 selections.
Needless to say, this is an offseason New England Patriot fans will never forget. After 20 years and six Super Bowl victories, Tom Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With Brady now in Tampa Bay, Jarrett Stidham and recently sign Brian Hoyer will reportedly battle for the starting quarterback job this summer. While Brady was the biggest loss this offseason for the Patriots, they lost several key defensive playmakers like Kyle Van Noy, Jamie Collins, and Danny Shelton.
Alabama’s star quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa went down with an injury up 28 points against Mississippi State on Saturday. He already was dinged up heading into the game with an ankle injury and was a game-time decision. Well, he won’t be playing any games for the remainder of the year. Tagovailoa was carted off the field with what was later to be determined as a dislocated hip.
College Gameday is heading to Waco! The #9 Oklahoma Sooners take on the undefeated #12 Baylor Bears in a very important Big 12 game. Both of these teams have had very interesting seasons led by prolific quarterbacks. Continue reading →
