MLB DFS: ALCS Game Four Showdown

John Lepore | October 17th, 2019

Game Four of the ALCS was supposed to be last night. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. What the change in schedule does for us though is it gives us a rematch of the Game One starters. Both have their strengths and their weaknesses and have gone on different paths this season while having obstacles along the way. Continue reading

ALDS Preview: New York Yankees vs Minnesota Twins

John Lepore | October 4th, 2019

Two teams that won over 100 games this season will begin their battle in the Bronx tonight at 7:07 ET. The pitching will have to be on point for both sides as mistakes in the field and on the basepaths will give the other side extra outs. Neither team can afford that with the firepower these squads have. Let’s break down the matchup.

For the most part, hitters will be matched up against premium pitching so finding offense isn’t as straight forward as on regular-season slates where you can target against weak pitching staffs’. Let’s get to it and go Around the Horn! Continue reading

Locks, Stacks, and Barrels: MLB DFS for September 25th, 2019

John Lepore | September 25th, 2019

Tonight we are looking at another nice 12-game slate for MLB DFS. There isn’t a wealth of aces tonight but there are solid options nonetheless. There are a ton of bats though and we will have to mix and match wisely to find those values so we can pay up for pitching. So let’s get right into it.

Tom Greene \ Aug 14th, 2019

81 wins for a team means they are assured they can finish no worse than .500. However, if you have 80 wins in August, you’ll finish above .500, guaranteed. You’ll most likely make the playoffs, too. Of course, barring catastrophic injuries or a strike.

On the radio, Tom Kent brought us back into the 80s on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night, dependent on where you are in the nation and what radio station you listen to. For me, it was Saturday night. In 2019, I bring you back into the 80s, by breaking down the teams that reach 80 wins. We had two that reached that mark last night. Let’s get to work. Continue reading
