Damico’s Depository: Ten College Football Locks For Week Six

This week, I’m going to introduce a new “segment”, if you will, to this article. This is inspired by “Bear’s Bank” on College Gameday. The Bear has such a poor picking record at picking spreads that I decided I must take it into my own hands to challenge him. So obviously, he’s a few weeks ahead of me, so this week I will pick 10 of my locks for this week and see if I can eventually have a better record than Chris Fallica and claim my throne. This past weekend, six new players got enshrined in Cooperstown, and it was unforgettable. Getting to witness it all firsthand and being part of history couldn’t have been greater. Traveling Tom’s MLB All Star Game Experience

16 miles. Two days. An amazing experience. The 2019 All-Star Game provided a great lineup of things to do for fans anywhere from 10 to 100… and even the youngsters got a thrill out of the mascots there! While I was not credentialed to go to this event (I hope my writing can get to the right people at some point), I had a great time experiencing the nation focusing on one city and one event. Cleveland had a couple years to prepare for this and they knocked it out of the park. Of course, not everyone was satisfied, but that’s not realistic. USWNT to be celebrated with ticker-tape parade Wednesday in NYC

New York City is currently preparing to celebrate the four-time, FIFA Women’s World Cup Champions the U.S. Women’s National soccer team (USWNT) tomorrow morning with a ticker-tape parade celebration. The event will begin at 9:30 am ET in New York City. Fans from near and far will gather to share in the glory of a fourth U.S. World Cup victory with hopes of seeing the champs hoist the world cup trophy in person.  Continue reading

UFC 237 Main Card Preview/Predictions

UFC 237 will take place tonight on ESPN+ live from the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This fight card will be the first time in UFC history that the smallest weight division (Women’s Strawweight) will headline a PPV fight. The current champion, Rose Namajunas will look to defend her belt against Jessica Andrade.
