The Tom Greene Podcast- College Football Playoff and Michigan-Alabama Preview with Jack Patterson

Tom Greene  | December 24th, 2019

Festivus, Christmas, the College Football Playoff, and Michigan-Alabama are all upon us!

I brought in Jack Patterson (@JPattersonTV), Sports Reporter from WRBL in Georgia, to break down the three big games coming up.

We also discussed, at length, about his encounter with Marty Smith, and how humbling he, and that experience, was.

Check out this episode for a great discussion about football and networking! We both aspire to work in the business, and Jack has a great head start in that!

Givanni Damico | October 4th, 2019

This week, I’m going to introduce a new “segment”, if you will, to this article. This is inspired by “Bear’s Bank” on College Gameday. The Bear has such a poor picking record at picking spreads that I decided I must take it into my own hands to challenge him. To make sure the article isn’t too long, I will do separate articles for my locks and my game picks.

From the Awards Ceremony and parade on Saturday involving 59 Hall of Famers to the Induction Ceremony itself on Sunday, it was unbelievable. Every speech was very moving, and one of my favorites was Jayson Stark’s at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday. Continue reading

Traveling Tom’s MLB All Star Game Experience

Tom Greene | July 11th, 2019

16 miles. Two days. An amazing experience. The 2019 All-Star Game provided a great lineup of things to do for fans anywhere from 10 to 100… and even the youngsters got a thrill out of the mascots there! While I was not credentialed to go to this event (I hope my writing can get to the right people at some point), I had a great time experiencing the nation focusing on one city and one event. Cleveland had a couple years to prepare for this and they knocked it out of the park. Of course, not everyone was satisfied, but that’s not realistic. Let me tell you what I got out of this great event. Continue reading
