Well week two was not as predictable as week one. The injury bug has officially hit. Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, and the Philadelphia Eagles’ receiving core were banged on Sunday. Even in this game, the New York Jets will be without Sam Darnold. Let’s see who the best players are in a potentially ugly Monday night game.
With week one in the books, some situations have settled down into more projectable outcomes, and some still leave us wanting more, or disappointed initially after all the off-season hype. The first weekend of football has been crazy. We started off with a slug-fest on Thursday Night, with the Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears. Then came the early game Sunday slate, which was wild and resulted in the Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee Titans, and Kansas City Chiefs all putting up 40+ points. Does it matter what his price is? Chris Sale has been downright nasty and striking out everyone lately. Sale has double-digit strikeouts in eight of his last nine games. The Toronto Blue Jays will try to load up on right-handed hitters against him, but Sale should still be able to strikeout quite a few. Strikeouts are key in daily fantasy.
