Welcome back to part two of a four-part series. Halfway into the NFL season means these players are halfway to the end of their rookie seasons. Just like the last go-around, the sample size is not very large but we have an even better idea on these players than we did just a month ago.

Week six has come and gone and we saw another batch of impressive rookie performances. This week was a rather defensive heavy week with a few standouts of the offensive side with one rookie quarterback making NFL history. Another week brings us another set of rookie rankings as we saw a lot of defensive players put up impressive individual performances. While some names find their way back to the top of the leaderboard, several offensive names who got off to hot starts have continued to simmer as the season progresses. The NFL combine has officially wrapped up with the defensive backs finishing their workouts Monday. Several players impressed with their workouts and 40 times but at the same time, some players underwhelmed with some numbers and drills.
Defense is the best part of this year’s NFL draft. Everyone knows that, but a lot of these players are blowing expectations out of the water. Players are running blazing fast 40 times, they are putting up massive reps on the bench, and some are measuring out quite well.
Lots to dive into so let us not waste any more time.
