To help fantasy football players with their roster construction, three of our writers have provided some insight on which players they would start, would sit, and consider a sleeper for this week. Be sure to follow all of them on twitter and ask any of The Scorecrow’s fantasy writers for fantasy advice.

Last week was interesting, to say the least. It wasn’t a good week, but it wasn’t a terrible week. We can look forward to there not being any obvious and ridiculously cheap chalk such as Nelson Agholor, and we are getting to the point in the season where some occurrences are less random and skill takes over.
With that said, let’s get to the cheap looks for this week. Continue reading

Week one is complete and it definitely did not disappoint. Week two gets started with a divisional battle between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs the Carolina Panthers. This game will not be anything like last week’s offensive snooze fest. In fact, there will be more scoring in the first half, maybe even the first quarter than all of last week’s game. First, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Kevin Walsh, and I am from Pittsburgh, PA. I have been playing DFS since DraftStreet still existed. This is my first season writing for The Scorecrow, and this is my first tournament rundown. I have written about DFS before, so hopefully, that shouldn’t be too much of an issue. I am a huge football and hockey fan, and I am always so engulfed in fantasy sports from September until January. I plan to give you a peek inside what I have going on in my head and hopefully lead you to some DFS success (as well as myself, of course), but enough about me, let’s get to the good stuff.

Dominance in 2018 High Expectations for 2019
Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey is a terrific all-purpose threat who can run between the tackles and take a screen pass to the end zone. He’s one of the best pass-catching backs in the NFL. McCaffrey broke out in a big way in 2018:

Congratulations if you have made it this far! Many fantasy owners out there have just suffered heartbreaking defeats, so take a minute to enjoy this moment because you have earned it!…. OK, now stop celebrating because that extremely important victory we just pulled out means nothing. It is time to fall back, sharpen our weapons, and add new weapons that will aid us in our victory because if we lose, we die.
