Week five was filled with phenomenal performances, with monster games from Deshaun Watson, Christian McCaffrey, Aaron Jones, Amari Cooper, Will Fuller, as well as the Philadelphia Eagles D/ST. Week six has a few projected shootouts, including a heavyweight bout between the two best young quarterbacks in the league. I’m sure that we’ll be in for a few surprises this week!

Week four of the NFL season included a number of disappointing performances from elite players. We saw quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes, Matt Ryan, and Tom Brady all fail to throw touchdown passes. We also saw some massive rushing totals, with Nick Chubb and Leonard Fournette going off for a combined 390 yards. The fantasy football season is a roller-coaster ride filled with surprises and disappointments. Buckle up and let’s see what week five brings!

Well, this is it. This is what we’ve all been waiting for. NFL football is back baby! Of course, we had the Chicago versus Green Bay game on Thursday night to kick off the season, but that was simply a tease. A low scoring defensive battle with one touchdown over the course of the game. Sure, it was a good football game (not the outcome I wanted being a Bears fan), but not at all what fantasy players were hoping for either. There will be a lot more action and points today, guaranteed. Cash games have been an area we can find an edge when it pertains to daily fantasy football. Every year new players jump aboard the always rolling DFS train. Luckily for you, most of the new players will be applying what they know about season-long fantasy into DFS. That’s not a terrible strategy, but it can lead to bad habits or skipping over important details. By putting in the extra effort and taking in as much as you can, you’re already winning. Almost every year, fantasy owners picking early in the first round target bell cow running backs as they are worth their weight in gold. This year there are four running backs in that group: Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, Alvin Kamara, and Ezekiel Elliott. A month ago, these four running backs were being drafted all in the top four picks according to Fantasy Football Calculator. However, since Zeke is currently holding out, his ADP has dropped down a little to 1.05 and is the fifth player being taken on average, behind the other three running backs and DeAndre Hopkins.

The Carolina Panthers finished the 2018 season with a record of 7-9 and missed the playoffs. They were looking to improve on an 11-5 season in 2017 and started off strong in 2018 with a 6-2 record. The Panthers then went on a seven-game losing streak, ending their playoff hopes.

Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey is a terrific all-purpose threat who can run between the tackles and take a screen pass to the end zone. He’s one of the best pass-catching backs in the NFL. McCaffrey broke out in a big way in 2018:

The 2019 NFL season is almost here! Well, the preseason at least. The Hall of Fame game between the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos is just a few days away. The regular season is a little more than five weeks away, but football is back baby! Of course, that means redraft fantasy leagues will be drafting left and right over the next month or so.
