Hold your Horses on the Hype: Mike Evans and Chris Godwin

Hold Your Horses on the Hype: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Nickolas Loza | May 22nd, 2020

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason have improved by a wide margin, which they needed to do after a disappointing season with a record of 7-9 under Head Coach Bruce Arians. They went out and released their troubled Quarterback Jameis Winston, who despite throwing for 5,000 yards and 30 touchdowns, had one of the weirdest seasons ever. Winston became the first player in NFL history to throw for 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions, truly a statistical anomaly.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2019 Season Recap

Mike Fanelli | January 9th, 2020

Entering the 2019 season the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had hopes of making the playoffs. In reality, they were never playoff contenders. The season was highlighted by three things. One, Jameis Winston because the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for 30 plus touchdowns and 30 plus interceptions. Ironically, the Buccaneers’ season ended in overtime against the Atlanta Falcons on a pick-six that gave Winston his 30th interception of the season. Two, Chris Godwin‘s breakout season. Despite missing 2.5 games because of a hamstring injury, Godwin finished third in the league with 1,333 receiving yards. The duo of him and Mike Evans might be the best in the league. Three, Shaquil Barrett had a breakout season, leading the league with 19.5 sacks. Entering the season he had 14 career sacks.

The Walsh Way – Week 8 NFL DFS GPP Plays

Kevin Walsh | October 26th, 2019

All my plays are based on DraftKings pricing. Its also important to note that when I list a player as a fade, I do not mean I will have 0% of them, but I will be way under the field as far as exposure goes, and likely will not play them on single entry lineups.

Thursday Night Football Week 2 DFS

Brandon Braasch | September 12th, 2019

Week one is complete and it definitely did not disappoint. Week two gets started with a divisional battle between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs the Carolina Panthers. This game will not be anything like last week’s offensive snooze fest. In fact, there will be more scoring in the first half, maybe even the first quarter than all of last week’s game. Let’s take a look at this week’s DFS matchups on FanDuel and DraftKings.

Week 14 Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em

Frank Dyevoich | December 8th, 2018

Ladies and gentlemen, this is it. Week 14, the fantasy football playoffs. Congratulations to those of us who have reached our first goal. Now we must re-dedicate ourselves and re-focus all of our energy onto the next three weeks. It is win or go home, and I don’t know about you, but I want to win. There is one very important rule when preparing for an epic playoff run: don’t get cute. Julio Jones only had three fantasy points last week, but this week’s matchup vs the Packers should be a shootout between two bad defenses. Start Julio Jones. And don’t get thrown by a matchup and start a much less talented player in a good matchup over an elite player with a bad one. Matchups are a factor, but not the only factor.
