One of the favorite pastimes for fans to do, especially when you are in the off-season, is to project. Whether it’s with draft prospects or people from other walks of life, it is always fun to fantasy book your favorite athletes, characters, and celebrities as football players. This series will utilize this exercise once a month, picking 6-8 different individuals spanning different sports, pro wrestling, television and movie casts, and celebrities. Carey Price Breaks Jacques Plante Win Record

Carey Price notched his 315th win in a 3-1 victory against the Detroit Red Wings, making him the winningest goaltender in Canadiens franchise history, he collected 20 saves in the contest, which included a very nice pad save on Michael Rasmussen to keep it scoreless in the second period, as well as robbing Todd Bertuzzi on a crucial breakaway with twelve minutes remaining in the third, which kept them in the game. Carey Price Ties Jacques Plante For Most Wins In Montreal Canadiens History

A monumental feat was accomplished Tuesday night when Carey Price tied legendary Montreal Canadiens goaltender Jacques Plante for most career wins in a Canadiens sweater, and Price may get the opportunity to pass him as soon as tonight if Price starts for the Canadiens in their game against the San Jose Sharks.
