This article will ignore teams that have found the fountain of youth (looking at you, New England) and teams that are unproven but have potential (i.e., the Ravens if Lamar Jackson makes a big leap).
Don’t look now, but people are talking about the Cleveland Browns. After executing the deal of the offseason and bringing in Odell Beckham Jr., they are now the talk of the NFL. The Cleveland Browns finished the 2018-2019 season with a 7-8-1 record barely missing the playoffs and John Dorsey knew it was time to make a splash to help the Browns acquire that piece that could put them over the top. It was rumored that he was working towards making a big move and that’s when it was first rumored by many that Odell Beckham Jr. could be a possibility.
As if this season wasn’t enough of a shock to Browns fans, as I type this the Browns have signed embattled free agent running back Kareem Hunt. This is just the cherry on top of the whirlwind season that the team and fans experienced this past year. The Browns again changed coaches, quarterbacks, coordinators and did it all again with a new coaching staff top to bottom to finish the year.
News just broke. According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, Freddie Kitchens will join the list of prestigious Head-Coaches for The Cleveland Browns. Kitchens took over as Offensive coordinator after the firing of Todd Haley in week nine. Continue reading →
