Mason’s Mock Draft 3.0 Round Two

Mason Thompson | March 25th, 2020

On Monday, I released the first round of my three-round mock draft. Today, I will move on to round two. There are still several high caliber players on the board and there has been lots of movement before the second round starts as a result of the first round. Let’s get the second day of picks started. Cincinnati is on the clock with the 33rd pick.

San Francisco 49ers Pre Free Agency Seven Round Mock Draft

Nickolas Loza | February 27th, 2020

The San Francisco 49ers rookie class of last season performed to outstanding levels, with Nick Bosa winning Defensive Rookie of the Year. Deebo Samuel looking like a future go-to receiver for Jimmy Garoppolo with his versatility and his receiving skills. Jalen Hurd has yet to play a game but showed upside during the offseason. Justin Skule, who filled in admirably for Joe Staley and Mitch Wishnowsky, who averaged of 44.9 yards per punt. It was good enough for the Niners to be awarded the “Best Draft Class” award at the Combine this year. There is almost no way this draft class can live up to the power the last draft class had, but I’ll attempt to predict how the 49ers will make an attempt to change their future now.

Washington Redskins Pre Free Agency Seven Round Mock Draft

Mike Fanelli | February 6th, 2020

The Washington Redskins’ 2019 season didn’t go as anyone had planned. Between the merry-go-round at quarterback, the injuries, and the coaching/front office dumpster fire, it’s amazing the Redskins didn’t finish with the worse record in the NFL. However, the reward for the horrible season is the number two overall draft pick. Thanks to a draft night trade last season, the Redskins don’t have a second-round pick (34th overall), as it now belongs to the Indianapolis Colts. However, thanks to losing Jamison Crowder in free agency last year, the Redskins are projected to receive a fourth-round compensatory pick. In total, the Redskins are projected to have seven draft picks this year.

2020 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Ashtyn Davis, SAF, California

Givanni Damico | November 26th, 2019

Ashtyn Davis, SAF, California #27

Height: 6’1”

Weight: 201 LBs

Class: Senior

Davis is a former track-star whose athletic abilities have transferred very well to the football field. As a redshirt-senior, Davis has already accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl to further attempt to boost his stock. I love how an analyst over at TDN (The Draft Network) put it. He said that labeling Davis as a “track athlete” is incorrect. He should be labeled as “a football player, who happens to also be good in track and field.”

Cheez-It Bowl Preview

Dale Money | December 26th, 2018

Meeting up for the first time in their Football history. Both the California Golden Bears and TCU Horned Frogs approach the game with a defense-first mentality and that will be on display at Chase Field Wednesday night. Cal won the bowl twice in two of its previous forms, as it came out on top in the 1990 Copper Bowl and 2003 Insight Bowl. TCU enters its bowl game with six wins for the second time in three years.
