Washington Redskins Draft Review

Steve Seufert | April 28th, 2020

One thing is for sure, Kyle Smith and Ron Rivera had a plan. A plan that was made public to the fans. The plan was to add versatility and what Rivera refers to as position-less football players.  I love that they stuck to their plan, even if I thought there were better players on the board. They’re trying to instill a culture and attitude that this organization has lacked for almost three decades. I think it’s already working.

Carolina Panthers Post Free Agency Seven Round Mock Draft

Ethan Hewett | April 16th, 2020

The Carolina Panthers have entered a new era of football. They cleaned out the coaching staff and brought in former Baylor Bears Head Coach Matt Rhule to lead the Panthers into the next decade of football. With a new offensive-minded coach, the offseason consisted of getting pieces around running back Christian McCaffrey, whom the Panthers just gave a four-year, $64 million dollar contract. They started by giving quarterback Teddy Bridgewater a three-year, $63 million contract and also brought in former XFL star quarterback P.J. Walker. The Panthers also added receivers Robby Anderson and Seth Roberts.

Los Angeles Chargers Post Free Agency Seven Round Mock Draft

Sam Schneider | April 10th, 2020

The Los Angeles Chargers started off free agency with a bang, establishing a defense and couple offensive line pieces that should help them transition into the post Philip Rivers era. After shoring up the right side of the line with Bryan Bulaga and trading for Trai Turner, the left side was largely untouched. That lends itself to taking the first southpaw drafted since Tim Tebow ten years ago.

Dallas Cowboys Post Free Agency Seven Round Mock Draft

Mike Fanelli | March 30th, 2020

Entering free agency everything for the Dallas Cowboys centered around Dak Prescott. To no one’s surprised, the Cowboys placed the franchise tag on Dak as they try to work out a long term deal. However, with the new Collective Bargaining Agreement put in place, the Cowboys were no longer able to also transition tag Amari Cooper. Luckily for the Cowboys, despite a strong push from the Washington Redskins, Cooper never wanted to leave Dallas and re-signed on a five-year deal.

Atlanta Falcons Pre Free Agency Seven Round Mock Draft

Dale Money | March 7th, 2020

Once again the Atlanta Falcons’ season was derailed by injuries and inconsistent play. The Falcons started the season 1-7, with their only win in week two against the Philadelphia Eagles. During their week nine bye, the Falcons made changes to the coaching staff, amid speculation that head coach Dan Quinn would be fired at the end of the season. However, during the second half of the season, the Falcons rallied behind Quinn and finished 6-2 over their last eight games, including impressive wins over the Saints in New Orleans and the 49ers in San Francisco. They finished the season 7-9, landing them the 16th pick in the first round.

Houston Texans Pre Free Agency Seven Round Mock Draft

Mason Thompson | February 26th, 2020

The Texans were knocked out in the divisional round by the eventual Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. They finished the year without a general manager and are looking to go into the draft with Bill O’Brien in that de facto role. O’Brien made significant moves during the season, sending Jadeveon Clowney to the Seahawks for a bag of chips, but sending two first-round picks to bring in Laremy Tunsil. Without a first-round pick, the team will have a lot of trouble finding players in the draft to fill their needs. I listed the Texans’ biggest needs as interior defensive line, edge rusher, and cornerback.
