Well, it’s one of those days where there are a ton of hitters and pitchers that make for viable options because it’s a full slate of games tonight. I’ve done my best job to try to pinpoint some players you can use in all formats. Join me as I take a look at which pitchers to target, two bats, and two stacks.
As of writing this, the Chicago Cubs are -163 Vegas favorites to beat the St. Louis Cardinals tonight. I wanted to start there because once the first pitch is thrown, everything is out the window and subject to change. Such a storied rivalry between the Cubs and Cardinals. As previously mentioned, the Twins are the best team in the league. The team has won ten of their last eleven, and as a result, they are the only team to hold a double-digit lead in their division. This well-balanced team has outstanding pitching from Jose Berrios, Martin Perez, and Jake Odorizzi to complement a line-up that features Jorge Polanco, C.J. Cron, Eddie Rosario, our feature this week; Max Kepler. Kepler led the league this week in average (.588), Slugging (1.118), OPS (1.737), and On-base percentage (.619).
