A three-team trade that included Miami, Minnesota, and Memphis landed Andre Iguodala to the Heat. While Andre Iguodala was the big name in the deal, Jae Crowder has made the most impact on the team so far. The Miami Heat are now the only team to beat the Milwaukee Bucks twice. In what was an impressive defensive performance, the Heat defeated the Bucks 105-89. The 89 points scored by the Bucks were a season-low for them. Miami is now 39-22 for the season and three games back of the third-seeded Boston Celtics.
Unlike the previous two games, there was no late-game collapse this time. The Miami Heat blew another double-digit lead on Friday but responded with a strong fourth quarter to seal the victory. The Heat picked up its 37th win of the season with a 126-118 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. With the win, Miami holds on to the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference standings.
This past week, the NBA had the mid-season trade deadline, and as such, trades happened! Who woulda thunk?
At The Scorecrow, trade deadlines and draft days are our equivalent of a national holiday, so when the NBA’s largest trade in two decades went down to start the madness, we all just got drunk instead of doing our jobs and writing things. Sorry Johnnie.

After watching the game from afar, Andre Iguodala says he can’t wait to be back on the court. Iguodala, acquired by the Miami Heat ahead of the trade deadline, says he’s finally excited about the game again.
