National Championship Preview

Monday night’s National Championship game, which will be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, will feature powerhouses Alabama and Clemson for the third time in four years. Nick Saban will be looking to overtake Bear Bryant with the seventh title of his career. As for Clemson, they have not been back to the National Championship since Deshaun Watson led the Tigers to a National Title win against Alabama, back in 2017.

FCS Championship Game Preview

History will be made in Frisco, Texas on Saturday, January 5 in the 2019 FCS Championship Game. North Dakota State and Eastern Washington will duel it out for the chance to become a champion forever. The Bison and Eagles are no strangers to the playoffs as they are both considered two of the top programs at the FCS level yearly. They also met three times before starting in the 2010 quarterfinals.

Sugar Bowl Preview

The Sugar Bowl is not part of the College Football Playoff semifinal this year, but it’s still a good bowl to be in as it features the fifth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, who are 11-2 and the fifteenth ranked Texas Longhorns, who are 9-4. Two big name schools and some great coaching makes this game a must-watch chess game as there will be a lot of schematics left and right and it will surely be a bloodbath till the end with all the positional talent.

“The Grand Daddy of them All” – Keith Jackson

We all grew up hearing the legendary tone of Keith Jackson on ABC as we all tuned in to watch the Rose Bowl and start the new year off right. Now I’m only 24 so my earliest and favorite Rose Bowl memory has to be when Texas faced off against USC in 2006. Vince Young made his immortal run to the end zone on fourth down to give Texas the win. Coincidently it was also Jackson’s last time calling the Rose Bowl.
