Alex Smith – Another Gruesome sports injury

Beth Sullivan | November 19th, 2018

What do Paul George, Kevin Ware, Joe Theismann, and Alex Smith have in common?  If you were watching football on Sunday, then you know that they all suffered a gruesome sports injury – a lower leg fracture involving both bones in the lower leg.  In medical terms, this is a Tib-Fib fracture.  In sports terms, these injuries dominate more than one list of gruesome sports injuries.

The Frustrating Tale of Amari Cooper

Matt Woolsey | November 15th, 2018

I’m sure Amari Cooper is a great person. I’m sure he is very giving and is heavily involved in his community. But as a fantasy player on my team, I hate him. There is no worse feeling than agreeing on that last trade that puts your team into championship contention and you go to propose it and instead you see those evil words “Deadline passed.”

Travis Finkel | November 13th, 2018

Week 11 will offer some new names to the streaming conversation of fantasy football. Streaming has been tough this year as most people who wanted to stream a quarterback every week probably settled on keeping their successful streamer long term like Mitch Trubisky, Jared Goff, and maybe even Andy Dalton to name a few. The tight end landscape has been brutal all year and with key injuries, more and more tight ends are surpassing the 50% owned percentage making them ineligible to be streamed.

2018 Fantasy Football: Six Options to Replace Cooper Kupp

Mike Fanelli | November 12th, 2018

Sometimes football is awesome and other times it is miserable. No one ever wants to see a player get hurt, especially when it impacts their fantasy football team. On Sunday, Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp went down with a non-contact knee injury and reportedly torn the ACL in his left know, ending his season.
