Welcome in. Hopefully, everyone had a great week and is as excited as I am for this week’s games. Hopefully, last week you were able to construct a nice winning lineup based on some of the plays mentioned in last week’s article. However, you aren’t here to reminisce about last week.
Saturday night is always a big night in NHL and tonight is no different. We have nine games on the docket, the following are ones that have high probabilities of offensive production: Colorado at Tampa Bay, Florida at Nashville, Calgary at Los Angeles and Pittsburgh hosting Vegas. Buffalo at San Jose and Boston at Toronto have appeal as well. Let’s break it down and find out who makes the cut for this installment of Ice Picks. Continue reading →
All my plays are based on DraftKings pricing. Its also important to note that when I list a player as a fade, I do not mean I will have 0% of them, but I will be way under the field as far as exposure goes, and likely will not play them on single entry lineups.
Pitching has mostly had the upper hand in the Astros/ Yankees Championship Series so naturally, because of the distinct edge in their starters, we have to side with the stronger pitching team, the Houston Astros. Justin Verlander will be going on regular rest. The Yankees send left-handed starter James Paxton to the bump who has strikeout upside, but the Astros hit lefties very well. Let’s quickly go over a few players to help build your showdown lineups. It’s Game Five of the ALCS and it’s about time to go for a rip Around the Horn!
Game Four of the ALCS was supposed to be last night. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. What the change in schedule does for us though is it gives us a rematch of the Game One starters. It will be cool at Yankee Stadium tonight, and the wind will be blowing out toward the short right-field porch at about 16 mph. There should be a few souvenirs for the fans in those seats tonight.
Welcome in to another edition of Ice Picks. A nice nine-gamer on tap for us tonight. The slate has been trimmed down here to three games, Boston and Tampa are also on my radar but isn’t featured. (We should have some exposure to that game too as they are arguably the best two teams in the East). Teams with the best match-upsare as follows: Vegas at home to the Senators, Calgary home to the Red Wings and the Rangers at the bottom feeders, the New Jersey Devils. Let’s go for a skate and make some Ice Picks.
Another divisional matchup is set in store for us on Thursday Night. The reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs head to Mile High to face the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs have lost two games in a row after starting off 4-0. The Broncos had a rough start going 0-4 but they have now won two in a row. One of these streaks has to give so without further ado, here are my top players and predictions for this divisional matchup.
