Chargers at Raiders Preview: Thursday Night Showdown

Thursday Night Football features two teams from the AFC West, as the 4-4 Oakland Raiders host the 4-5 Los Angeles Chargers. The long-time rivals will face off at the Black Hole for the final time. There’s not a lot of love lost between the Chargers and the Raiders, and both teams are desperate to keep pace with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders are 3-1 at home while the Charges are 2-3 on the road. Chargers’ head coach Anthony Lynn is looking for his third straight win to take his team back to .500 football.

Woz’s Notebook NFL Week 8: 49ers Drop a 50 on the Panthers

The 7-0 San Francisco 49ers continue on the rich vein of form, and rookie Nick Bosa once again showed why he was a top draft pick. Bosa had an unbelievable game with three sacks in yesterday’s 51-13 demolition over the 4-3 Carolina Panthers.  The league’s basement teams are still losing, and the Cincinnati Bengals may win the right for the first overall draft pick.
