The San Francisco 49ers had a rough season in 2018, going 4-12 and being the second-worst team in the NFL. Their season was marred by injuries, with Jimmy Garoppolo getting hurt early, Jerick McKinnon not playing at all, and Matt Breida getting hurt after dominating in the run game. Continue reading →
When the Buffalo Bills traded for you from the Philadelphia Eagles back in 2015, I was very excited. The Bills didn’t give up much to acquire you, and they almost always have a good backfield and run game. It was a match made in heaven. Your first season with the Bills was a good one, having over 1,000 all-purpose yards in 12 games and making the Pro Bowl. You barely missed a beat going from the Eagles to the Bills and you still looked like a star even when you were hurt. You were a perennial Pro Bowler and consistently had well over 1,000 yards. That was all up until 2018. Continue reading →
This is a make or break year for you. This is the last year on your contract and you haven’t shown much in the last two years that would make the Tampa Bay Buccaneers want to keep you and your off the field issues. You got replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick for a brief time last year even after your three-game suspension was finished. The Buccaneers picked up your fifth-year option for some reason and you’re still on the team somehow. In the first 15 races of this season, he has two top 10s, a top five, and the best finish a third at Talladega. These aren’t spectacular stats, but they’re enough to put him ahead in the running for Rookie of the Year. Preece has shown signs of being a good driver and, for a rookie, has really been impressive in his first year. The only issue with him is the lack of experience and time driving in the top three NASCAR series.
When you got drafted first overall in 2018, I was one of the happiest people ever. Though I’m not a big Cleveland Browns fan, I always like to see teams that are failing get turned around. I knew you would be a good pick, but you were legendary. You broke multiple rookie records and nearly got the Browns into the playoffs for the first time in 17 years.Continue reading →
Back in 2017, Chip Ganassi Racing driver Kyle Larson emerged as one of the favorites to win the championship. He was leading in points for a lot of the season but ended up finishing eighth in the standings. During that season he had four wins, 15 top five finishes, 20 top 10 finishes, and five poles. He looked like a star on the rise at the time, but he hasn’t been able to match that season. And this year it’s only gotten worse. Continue reading →
