Why Ryan Preece Could Be the Next Great Driver

JTG Daugherty Racing driver Ryan Preece is currently one of the NASCAR Sunoco Rookie of the Year favorites. In the first 15 races of this season, he has two top 10s, a top five, and the best finish a third at Talladega. These aren’t spectacular stats, but they’re enough to put him ahead in the running for Rookie of the Year. Preece has shown signs of being a good driver and, for a rookie, has really been impressive in his first year. The only issue with him is the lack of experience and time driving in the top three NASCAR series.

When you got drafted first overall in 2018, I was one of the happiest people ever. Though I’m not a big Cleveland Browns fan, I always like to see teams that are failing get turned around. Kyle Larson Deserves Better

Back in 2017, Chip Ganassi Racing driver Kyle Larson emerged as one of the favorites to win the championship. He was leading in points for a lot of the season but ended up finishing eighth in the standings. During that season he had four wins, 15 top five finishes, 20 top 10 finishes, and five poles. He looked like a star on the rise at the time, but he hasn’t been able to match that season. And this year it’s only gotten worse. Continue reading
