It’s time for the Week 6 Fantasy Streamers! The teams on bye this week have doubled from two to four teams, so here are some options you can use to replace a quarterback, tight end, defense/special teams, and Kicker.
The rostered percentages I present in this are pulled from ESPN Fantasy.
QB – Kirk Cousins – 25.5% Rostered
Against the Giants, Kirk Cousins finally looked like a good quarterback who knows how to throw. He threw for over 300 yards and two touchdowns with zero turnovers. Up next is a generous Eagles secondary, and don’t be wary about the 35 fantasy point outlier against Luke Falk last week.
QB – Gardner Minshew– 18.7% Rostered
Minshew continues to put up strong numbers, and I will more than likely leave him in the streamers until the rest of America hops on board with me. With 374 passing yards and two more touchdowns, Minshew is averaging 18 fantasy points per game.
QB – Teddy Bridgewater – 10.2% Rostered
Teddy looked like his old self last week before the tragic knee injury back in 2016. He has merely been a game manager quarterback since Bree’s thumb injury, but this could possibly be a sign of good things ahead.
TE – Chris Herndon – 12% Rostered
Herndon completed his four-game suspension and will join the Jets for week six. Scoop him up and look for Herndon’s status in practice this week. He should play an important role in a struggling Jets offense, desperate for playmakers.
TE- Tyler Eifert – 23.8% Rostered
Like Eric Ebron, Eifert has seemingly become more of a touchdown-dependent fantasy option. However, he should see a slight uptick in targets with A.J. Green still out and John Ross landing on IR. He receives a decent amount of red-zone targets, which could lead to those touchdowns you are looking for.
TE – Gerald Everett– 3.4% Rostered
Everett had the most receiving yards for the Rams and topped his season-high of eight targets with 11 on Thursday. He has 12 catches off 19 targets the past two games. If Brandin Cooks remains out with a concussion, he figures to see more work as he is a better receiving tight end than Tyler Higbee.
D/ST – Baltimore Ravens – 42.1% Rostered
The Ravens defense has been a complete disappointment this season and even struggled to contain Devlin Hodges for the Steelers. Nonetheless, they play a brutal and injury-plagued Bengals team this week, which makes them primed for a top ten fantasy performance.
D/ST – Pittsburgh Steelers – 24.7% Rostered
Not counting week one against New England, the Steelers have forced two or more turnovers in each game of the season. They face off against a struggling Chargers team next, along with Philip Rivers who was nothing short of appalling last week.
D/ST – Denver Broncos – 19.8% Rostered
Speaking of disappointments, none have been greater than the Broncos. They recorded their first sack in week four and first turnover last week. It was good to finally see a strong outing from them, which used to be their bread and butter. They should see plenty of gifts coming from Marcus Mariota next week.
K – Josh Lambo – 12.9% Rostered
Lambo has been automatic, kicking with a 100% accuracy through the first five weeks. He has scored no fewer than seven fantasy points and continues to see plenty of action with Gardner Minshew leading the charge.
