When Clayton Richard made the Blue Jays’ rotation this year, I was shocked. After two terrible seasons in a row, I thought he was done. He actually has been solid for the Jays this year, but the D-Backs have had the Jays’ number all weekend. Today will be no different. Eduardo Escobar is a bit overpriced, but if he can flash his power, this stack will be well worth it.
The Twins’ lineup has power from top to bottom. Nelson Cruz is very fairly priced at $4400 and the other two prove their worth night in and night out as well. Ryan Carpenter has struggled this season, so the Twins should be able to take advantage by getting to him early.
With a guy like Yelich involved in the stack, you’ll always have to pay up. Steven Brault has pitched terribly this year. He is allowing 5.5 BB/9 which means there will be guys on base to cash in. If you are willing to pay up for any stack today, this is it. Aguilar is also very cheap at $3200 and he provides good power ability.
